Controller and contact
The controller of personal data is Dominika Janicka, operating the studio under the Janicka Interiors brand, with the contact address: Mokrzyska, ul. Wiślana 154, 32-800, Poland.
For privacy matters, contact us by email at design@janickainteriors.com.pl or by phone at +48 781 080 575.
What data we process
The scope of data depends on how you use the website.
- The contact form may include your first and last name, email, phone number, message and information about the planned project, such as the type and status of the property, floor area, scope, location, timing and indicative budget.
- If you choose to attach saved inspirations to the form, your enquiry may include identifiers of selected portfolio images, selected preference categories and your optional notes. Until you consciously attach and send the collection, it remains stored locally in your browser.
- A normalised Style Finder result may be stored locally in your browser to combine it with saved inspirations. Design DNA is created from these local, structured preferences.
- Design DNA is shared with the studio only if you choose to attach it and submit the contact form.
- If you contact us by email, phone or WhatsApp, we process the data and correspondence you provide.
- The server may process technical data necessary for the security and operation of the website, including IP address, browser type, request time and diagnostic information.
- After you give the relevant consent, analytics or marketing tools may process online identifiers, device information and activity on the website. Details are set out in the Cookie Notice.
Purposes and legal bases
Data may be processed for the following purposes:
- responding to enquiries, preparing a consultation or taking steps before entering into a contract — Article 6(1)(b) GDPR;
- conducting correspondence, ensuring website security and establishing, pursuing or defending claims — legitimate interest, Article 6(1)(f) GDPR;
- processing data provided on the basis of voluntary consent, including consent selected in the form — Article 6(1)(a) GDPR;
- analytics and marketing — only after the relevant consent is given in the cookie preferences panel, Article 6(1)(a) GDPR.
You may withdraw consent at any time. Withdrawal does not affect the lawfulness of processing carried out before withdrawal.
AI tools
Style Finder and features that help prepare a project description use OpenAI models through a secure server-side connection. Only the data needed to perform the selected function is sent to the provider.
Style Finder analyses answers about design preferences. The brief assistant processes a description that the user deliberately submits for drafting. Automatic enquiry summaries do not send the name, email address or phone number fields to the model, although the message itself may contain data entered by the user. Please do not include particularly sensitive data in descriptions.
Saved inspiration selections and inspiration notes are not automatically sent to OpenAI as part of the enquiry summary in this version. Attached Design DNA is not automatically sent to OpenAI in this function either.
Requests use store: false. OpenAI states that it does not use API data to train models without the customer's explicit consent. Technical data relating to abuse prevention may be retained by the provider for a limited period under its current policies. More information is available in the OpenAI API data privacy policy.
AI tools support the preparation of recommendations or summaries. They do not make decisions with legal effects or similarly significant effects on users. An AI failure does not prevent form submission.
Recipients and service providers
To the extent necessary to operate the website, data may be entrusted to hosting and infrastructure providers (Vercel), email providers (home.pl), AI services (OpenAI), and, after consent, analytics (Google Analytics) and marketing services (Meta Pixel).
You move to an external booking system only after clicking the relevant link. From that point, data is processed under that operator's policies.
We do not sell personal data. Providers receive only the data needed for the specified service and operate under their own terms and applicable data-protection agreements.
Transfers outside the EEA
Some technology providers may process data outside the European Economic Area. In that case, transfers use mechanisms provided for by the GDPR and appropriate to the provider and service, such as an adequacy decision or standard contractual clauses. Each provider publishes current information in its privacy documentation.
How long we retain data
We retain correspondence and enquiry data for the time needed to respond, carry out the collaboration, and for the period necessary to protect or pursue potential claims. Data processed on the basis of consent is kept until consent is withdrawn or the purpose ceases, whichever comes first.
Technical, analytics and marketing data is retained according to the service settings, the lifespan of each identifier and the provider's policies. Details of browser-based tools are in the Cookie Notice.
Your rights
Where provided by law, you may request access to, rectification or erasure of your data, restriction of processing and data portability, and you may object or withdraw consent. Send a request to design@janickainteriors.com.pl.
You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the President of the Polish Personal Data Protection Office. Information on lodging a complaint is available at uodo.gov.pl.
Voluntary provision of data
Providing data is voluntary, but fields marked as required are necessary to send the form and receive a response. Without the required data we cannot handle your enquiry. Analytics and marketing settings are always optional.
